Which plan should I choose?
Tempo acts like a "social network" for time tracking. When you sign up for a premium/pay account you can define projects, set estimates, and build teams. You can invite other users, via their e-mail, to join your projects (up to the People per Project limit). These users can sign up for free plans to log time.
A free account gives you one personal project, but more importantly you can join and log time to projects you're invited to. We don't limit the number of projects you can join on a free plan. So, if you just want to manage your own time or you were invited to join you can sign up for a free plan.
Don't worry - if you choose a pay plan you won't be charged for 30 days! Or, if you choose a free plan, you can always upgrade to a premium plan later.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
A 30-day free trial is available on all pay plans. You can cancel or downgrade to a free plan within 30 days and you will not be charged. If you cancel your account after the 30 day trial you will not be charged again, however, you will be responsible for any charges you have already incurred. We are not able to issue refunds after the 30 day trial expires, nor do we pro-rate charges for partial months.
Is there a 30-day trial when upgrading from a free to pay plan?
No, your account will be charged immediately when you upgrade from a free account. If you'd like to try all Tempo's features risk free you should sign up for a premium plan now.
Are there any long term contracts?
Tempo is a month-to-month service with no long term commitments or contracts. You can cancel your account at any time on the "Account" page. If you decide to cancel you will be billed for the current month but you will not be billed after that.
Can I change my plan after I sign up?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time on the "Account" page. When you upgrade your account you will be charged at the new rate. There is no additional cost to upgrade in the future other than the cost of the plan you select.
